Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Sherlock Digital Care Platform ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

2. Who Can Use the Platform

The Platform is intended for use by:

  • Registered children's homes and their authorised staff
  • Children and young people in care, under supervision of their home
  • Administrators and managers with appropriate authorisation

All users must be authorised by their home's administrator. Unauthorised access is strictly prohibited.

3. User Responsibilities

All users agree to:

  • Keep login credentials confidential and not share accounts
  • Use the Platform only for its intended care management purposes
  • Report any safeguarding concerns through appropriate channels
  • Comply with their organisation's data protection policies
  • Not attempt to access data beyond their authorised role

4. Data Ownership

All care records and data entered into the Platform remain the property of the children's home (the data controller). Auxilo Ltd acts as a data processor in accordance with UK GDPR.

5. Availability

We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

6. Prohibited Use

Users must not:

  • Share, export, or disclose child data to unauthorised parties
  • Attempt to circumvent security controls
  • Use the Platform for any purpose other than legitimate care management
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the system

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these terms, with immediate effect where safeguarding concerns are involved.

8. Limitation of Liability

Auxilo Ltd's liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
